Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) is looking for a dedicated and driven Project Manager from the software product space who will be accountable for ensuring the successful planning, execution and reporting of product development and launch within our Experiences pillar.

This will include managing dependencies within and across teams, as well as managing risks associated with feature delivery. The role requires a person who can build strong relationships, foster collaboration between Product and Engineering teams and is highly functional in a dynamic, challenging, and technical environment.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with Product Group leaders to ensure strategic goals and KPI’s are met.
• Drive the planning and execution of initiatives from idea to release, including organizational readiness.
• Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes.
• Act as a cross-functional liaison to ensure relevant areas of the organization are engaged.
• Manage multiple internal and external, cross-functional, and remote stakeholders.
• Track timely delivery against product objectives.
• Track and monitor product dependencies and associated risk assessments.
• Work closely with Senior Program Managers during product planning and review meetings.
• Facilitate discussions and lead effective meetings.
• Lead without authority by building relationships.
• Monitor and report on initiative progress to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage risks and dependencies.
• Coach team members as needed to improve individual and/or team performance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years’ experience in project management in product development environments.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units.
• Experience leading new products, services, or start-up related projects where processes need to be defined, implemented, and iterated.
• Excellent judgment, strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong detail orientation and ability to organize, both self and others.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, drive results and problem solve.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of the software development life cycle model.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with agile software development.
• Agile and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Creative and ideas-driven in finding new solutions/designing innovative solutions to solve problems under tight deadlines.
• Ability to interpret data to track program success.

This role is a remote one that will work on Eastern Standard Time, but can be performed from any US location.
