An open-minded approach to working with cutting edge Lean and Agile Software Development techniques such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP is a must.

Duties:
• Develop and execute black box test plans to validate frontend (UI) and backend (API) feature stories
• Automate test cases using open source libraries (Appium & Selenium)
• Maintain & improve our QA test infrastructure (TeamCity)
• Maintain & improve our documentation
• Write clear, actionable bug reports (Jira)
• Contribute your QA knowledge during feature kick-off
• Work closely with developers to ensure quick turnaround on bug fixes
• Define quality gates to ensure the overall health of the product meets a standard
• Monitor production logs and troubleshoot customer issues
• Help mentor and train other STEs and interns

Qualifications

Requirements:
• Strong knowledge in QA methodologies
• Very passionate about evolving Mobile technologies and curious to know more
• Prior working knowledge of hybrid applications (Angular & Ionic)
• Prior knowledge of Appium, Selenium, Java, Postman, Javascript / Typescript, and NodeJS
• Prior experience of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (Jenkins / Concourse / TeamCity)
• Comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused, positive and professional attitude
• Organized, detail oriented, accurate and responsive
• Self-motivated, quick learner and good listener
• Retain and apply knowledge gained effectively
• Work in a fast-paced environment; takes initiative to learn and develop; very adaptable and dependable
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• A self-directed team player: collaborative, seeks input, accepts and incorporates feedback from others, freely offers assistance
