Description

As an automation Software Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and excellence of our products. Embedded within an agile development team, you will work side by side with Developers and Business Analysts to validate application quality. You will complete testing and ensure quality for critical functionality owned by Compliance for the purpose of meeting printing and critical year end processing requirements in our custom applications.

The candidate will be responsible for creating test cases, writing automation related to the functionality tested, and manual testing as needed. Completion of activities will certify that the functionality tested is up to quality standards and ready to be deployed for customer use.

Qualifications

• Computer Science/Business undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Prior experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with software testing, both manual and automated testing including testing methodologies and patterns
• Experience writing and implementing automated tests at the integration, system, and UI level
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Self-motivated, positive team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• 3 - 5 performing Quality Assurance (QA) testing of a modular enterprise application
• 3 – 5 years’ experience with agile/lean development methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum
• Experience with event-driven architecture and testing patterns
