Description

This position will require strong organizational and collaborative skills. Individual must be able to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment. There will be some level of recurring compliance work, but this position will lean more heavily towards researching and reporting on a wide-ranging variety of tax topics, both foreign and domestic.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with consolidation of all foreign subsidiary income tax provision and input into tax reporting software.
• Assist in review of quarterly tax provision for all foreign subsidiaries
• Assist in review of provision-to-return process and analysis of foreign income tax returns.
• Assist in processing and recording tax payments
• Assist with responding to audit notices and requests
• Provide support on an as-needed basis to Tax and Finance related initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, and integration of acquired companies
• Research and summarize tax legislation updates and analyze the potential consequences for UKG and its subsidiaries
• Assist in review of transfer pricing studies
• Research and report on various new software tools and subscriptions to optimize group communications and workflow
• Collect tax department correspondence and distribute accordingly
• Monitor the Tax mailbox and coordinate with other departments to resolve customer facing issues (taxability, exemption, registration, etc.)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of full-time tax experience with a tax-relevant advanced degree (MBA, MST, MSA or JD) or a minimum of 3+ years of full-time tax experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly excel
• Prior large accounting firm or multinational corporation experience strongly preferred
