As a Level 3 Support Business Analyst for Data Warehousing, you will triage complex data issues and customer escalations, identify root causes, and provide resolution recommendations. You will engage engineering and infrastructure teams as required, providing them with clear direction and helping them bring the issue to resolution. You will communicate issue status to customers and internal stakeholders and make recommendations for preventing similar problems from happening again.

Duties and Key Responsibilities
• Triage complex data integrity issues that Level 1-2 support staff is unable to solve without expert assistance
• Develop and execute queries and scripts for data reconciliation and investigation of data issues
• Conduct issue diagnosis, research the root cause, and provide resolution recommendations
• Understand DW and ETL designs and associated business logic and identify discrepancies in data and reports resulting from the flaws in data pipelines
• Create and dispatch trouble tickets to the appropriate engineering, infrastructure, and product support teams when their involvement is required
• Collaborate with DW Product Management to prioritize issue resolution in the overall DW Engineering team backlog
• Communicate directly with customers and internal staff to collect additional information required to diagnose and solve the issue
• Provide timely and clear status updates to affected customers and UKG stakeholders at all levels, including technical and business leaders

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role in large-scale enterprise software environments, preferably SaaS, experience working with customers, troubleshooting incidents and escalations
• Min Bachelor’s Degree in related fields
• Proficiency in advanced SQL and data analysis
• Experience in data warehousing technologies such as ETL, BI, databases, etc.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, architectures, and design principles
• Strong communication skills, including ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently and make informed, consequential decisions without management supervisor

• Experience in customer support, help desk, sustaining engineering or similar organizations is a plus
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and associated data warehousing technologies such as Beam and BigQuery is a plus
• Experience with MySQL and/or SQL Server databases is a plus
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc. is a plus
• Experience with ETL tools like Talend, Informatica, SSIS, etc. is a plus
• Experience in the HRMS/Payroll industry is a plus
