UKG is seeking an API Integration Specialist to join our engineering team for a permanent position in Alpharetta, GA. You will design and develop software-based integrations between UKG Banking Solutions and UKG’s core HRIS applications and other 3rd party solutions to ensure we are continuously creating more value and seamless processes for our customers. The integration specialist will work on a variety of projects, mainly focused but not limited to API based integrations.

As an API Integration Specialist, your will play a key role in new and existing implementations of integrations. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, documenting, and implementing the necessary integration frameworks and services for an efficient and secure interface. As the integration specialist, you should expect to coordinate with customers and multiple teams, prepare design plans, implement the approved solution, and provide ongoing support to those administering the solution. You should be prepared to be the subject matter expertise for all things API and Integrations.

Other responsibilities include:
• Participate in technical integration planning and pre-sales discussions with customers and internal teams to analyze integration requirements
• Engage with the product and development teams in software development discussions to create / enhance our systems
• Develop integration solutions based on customer requirements
• Implement new integrations by developing and configuring multiple systems
• Effectively communicate your progress with your team & stakeholders
• Troubleshoot code and configuration issues in all managed environments (dev, staging, production)
• Assist non-technical users in potential outcomes that can be achieved using the API

Qualifications

• BA., B.S. degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems or 2 years working in a technical role with API
• 2+ years’ experience in Web Services standards and technologies used for integrating various systems (e.g., XML, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, REST, JSON, JavaScript etc.).
• 2+ years’ experience with C#, .NET Core
• 2+ years’ experience with software management tools / code repositories (TFS/GIT)
• 1+ years’ experience with AGILE methodologies
• 1+ years’ experience with SQL Server
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms a plus
