At UKG security is at the core of everything we do. In the continuous pursuit of improving our application and infrastructure security, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Security Research & Development team. This team does cutting-edge work to build out the security technologies, software integrations and security frameworks that are used throughout our organization.

• Collaborate with members of the team to solve challenging engineering tasks on time and with high quality.
• Work with other team members to develop key features and research new security technologies.
• Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad supervision/ guidance.
•Work productively in a Devops environment using Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platforms (GCP)
•Actively communicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet the team goals
•Ability to work independently to coordinate and implement solutions to complex technical issues.

Qualifications

•2+ years’ experience as a key developer on software projects.
•Experience programming with Python, Ruby, or Go.
•Experience working with SQL databases such as MySQL or Postgres is a plus.
•Experience working with Linux systems and general familiarity with terminal environment.
•Experience working in a major cloud environment (AWS, GCP or Azure) is a plus.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; equivalent experience.
