Software Engineer II, UKG, Inc., Weston, Florida

Will work as a member of an agile development team that creates and integrates features for our cloud-based enterprise software solution. Will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing applications and systems. Duties include:

• Design, code, and test major enterprise software solutions using the latest .NET technologies in an environment focused on continuously improving our product and teams.
• Collaborate with product and development team members to create intelligent solutions to customer feature requests and system defects using Agile development methodologies.
• Perform peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to continually improve offerings.
• Develop innovative solutions to maximize the performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities of the system.
• Develop software that extracts and facilitates the importing of very large amounts of data from external sources to then generate reports from it.
• Create and execute unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Troubleshoot and work with other team members to resolve software defects.



This position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field and 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer working on enterprise‐level products. This experience must include working with the following:

(i) C#, .Net Core, Javascript, AngularJS (including Single Page Applications), RESTful Services, SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, .NET Web Forms, and Entity Framework.
(ii) Multi-tier application design and development.
(iii) Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression and Functional testing methodologies.
(iv) Creating tools to automate the deployment of an enterprise software solution to the cloud.
(v) Relational and non-relational databases. Writing Stored Procedures using SQL Server for backend development.
(vi) Using object-oriented design patterns, concurrency and multi-threaded programming, event-driven architecture, and acceptance testing in an Agile or Lean software development environment.

In addition, must have strong problem-solving skills.
