About the role:UKG is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for supporting Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and driving key improvements on our shared libraries. These shared libraries play a crucial role in establishing connections with technologies such as RabbitMQ, MongoDB, SQL, and more. The successful candidate will contribute to the stability of our financial services products and the optimization of our deployment processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring seamless integration of shared libraries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance shared libraries that facilitate connections with RabbitMQ, MongoDB, SQL, and other critical technologies
• Contribute to the creation and execution of automated testing strategies to maintain the quality and reliability of shared libraries
• Establish and maintain monitoring solutions for shared libraries to detect and troubleshoot performance issues, anomalies, and failures
• Document configurations, best practices, and updates related to shared libraries, facilitating knowledge transfer and accurate documentation maintenance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Product Owners, and Quality Assurance professionals, to coordinate and support improvements and deployments related to shared libraries
Qualifications
About you:Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, deployment, or DevOps roles
• Strong programming skills in languages like C#, Ruby, or Python
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, such as Team City, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understanding of security best practices in software development and deployment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
