This role is an exciting one in that the team is building a brand-new Benefits related product and experience for our customers’ employees and administrators. It requires talent and passion for collaboration and will be working with skilled Software, QA, and UI Engineers, along with other Business Analysts and Product Managers.

This Business Analyst will be welcomed into a seasoned team of knowledgeable product professionals as a member of a cutting-edge agile team, responsible for the delivery of an innovative cloud based Human Capital Management (HCM) software solution.
This individual is an analytical thinker with domain knowledge and strong customer focus. They are accountable for researching, analyzing, and documenting clear and actionable business requirements that will be distributed across one or more development teams. They have strong planning and execution skills which allow us to deliver functionality to customers incrementally, creating value over time.

In support of our culture, we will be adopting a hybrid working model that offers work from home flexibility and a physical presence of 2-3 days a week in the office. This role can be connected to our Weston FL, Alpharetta, or Atlanta GA offices.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Work with engineering team to groom user stories for use in Agile development, advise QA engineers on usage scenarios for testing.
• Collaborate on backlog grooming and design sessions as needed for solution research.
• Think imaginatively and intuitively while quickly grasping and synthesizing new ideas.
• Elicit information about business processes, use cases, and necessary data models to identify solutions that are efficient and provide customer value.
• Interpret user requirements based on a given business need.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis sessions.
• Negotiate requirement priorities across project stakeholders.
• Manage and strategically drive roadmaps for assigned areas.
• Collaborate with multiple internal resources to design solution and ensure project team understanding.
• Implement change-control, ensure scope is maintained, and escalate major scope changes as warranted.
• Provide regular project status updates to client and project management.
• Uphold an inclusive environment while driving the team for results.
• Obtain an obsession for delivering and measuring value to customers.


• Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline and 3+ years of experience in a software development environment as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
• Experience with HCM, Compliance or HR-oriented solutions.
• Technical knowledge of SQL and understanding of API and file exchange functionality.
• Certifications in HR-related fields (e.g., CPP, FPC, CPA, PHR, SHRM-CP, CPP).
• Strong analytical skills to understand complex business requirements and decompose detailed level requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in Agile or Lean Software Development environments such as Kanban or Scrum.
• Proven track record of delivering features from ideation to execution while holding the team to high-quality outcomes.
• High degree of organizational skills to successfully work independently or within a team to balance multiple priorities and overlapping tasks.
