Description & Requirements


•The QA Engineer will collaborate with the scrum team on its deliverables across all teams
•Implement test automation for the next generation SaaS Application
•Ensure a high-quality user experience
•Work closely with our Development, Product Management and UX teams to assess testing feasibility and identify risks
•Setup/configure/maintain automated testing environments in a CI/CD setting
•Develop test documentation, execute tests, and monitor results using application lifecycle tools
•Provide complete testing coverage for areas of responsibility
•Review business and functional requirements documents to create appropriate test documentation
• Transform manual test documentation into robust, efficient automated test scripts and team up with the QA resources to increase Automation coverage
•Continuously improve upon the productivity and efficiency of both our manual & automated testing efforts using innovative tools/techniques following industry standard best practices.
•Adhere to and promote standards for test development best practices
•Stay current on new technologies and evangelize future adoption of next-generation automation tools and best practices as appropriate

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science or a closely related field and 7 years of progressively responsible experience as a Software QA Engineer


Experience will include working with:
•Hands on testing payroll, multi-currency or financial SaaS based applications preferred
•Working in a fast paced Agile SDLC environment delivering high quality, high value features to the market sprint/sprint & release/release
• Experience with software test automation tool(s) like Selenium Web driver, Java and JUnit
• Solid experience in functional testing and software quality best practices (TDD, BDD)
• Experience in API testing or Web Services Testing using Rest Assured, SOAP UI, POSTMAN
• Experience working with SQL database and be able to write complex queries
• Experience of development in the Cloud (AWS, GCP)
• Able to write code in an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#
