**Hybrid remote/onsite **The way we work is changing, and the technology that helps companies manage their workforce must keep up. At UKG, we build modern workforce management applications that empower managers, enhance the employee experience, and support flexibility. UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is looking for a software developer to join its world class engineering team in Montreal for its latest Cloud platform: UKG Dimensions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experiencing developing quality cloud solutions. You will play a key role in the development of our SaaS offering, in a highly collaborative, agile environment.
This is a technical QA position and it requires development skills to be able to contribute to the automation. The candidate will join a Scrum team as a Software QA with responsibilities on:
• Participate actively to the different team/scrum meetings (daily stad up, planning, review)
• Actively contribute to the team achievements
• Contribute to test automation Frontend and Backend using our JAVA framework (development, maintenance, monitoring)
• Contribute to manual tests
• Work with the teams on defects and features
• Troubleshooting issues
• Support the different QA activities as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Software Engineering or computer science or equivalent combination of experience• Experience with Java
• Knowledge of RestAssured and Selenium an asset
• Knowledge of Linux skill to be able to navigate on the test systems to extract relevant information from log files is an asset
• Analytical skill to be able to contribute to the troubleshooting and the test coverage
• Good priority management
• Strong Autonomy and communication skills
