The UKG Engineering team in Montreal is seeking a Software QA Tools and Environment Intern. In this role, you will be part of a transversal team supporting the scrum teams working on product features. Your main focus will be on managing the test environment (Jenkins, Kubernetes/Docker, Windows and Linux VMs) and contributing to tools that will help teams to validate in an efficient way. You will also be supporting when needed the release validation effort by contributing to the automation efforts (execution + development).

Manage and improve the testing lab and testing infrastructure.
Support external teams for requests on Scheduling automation and environment.
Maintains and improves our capability to have our test automation in a continuous testing mode.
Maintains and improves our test automation.
Ensure continuous execution of the automation (API and UI).
Works in partnership to perform testing activities (manual/automated) when required.



Must be enrolled in a formal co-op program pursuing a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar major

Must be eligible to work full-time this Fall (September-December)

Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written/spoken) to interact with technical and non-technical people.

Familiar with Linux and shell scripts

Experience in with virtualization (VM, K8S, docker)

Ability to work and solve problems independently

Experience in Java/Groovy, scripting

Familiar with version control tools (GIT, bitbucket)
