UKG is looking for a Solutions Architect who will be responsible for supporting software implementations, designing solutions, and providing ongoing architectural leadership to technology initiatives. This position will work with business, implementation partners, other architects and development teams to establish consistent use of best practices and to ensure that all systems are designed to meet business needs efficiently.

• Lead design, scoping and development of technical solutions for the enterprise
• Lead multiple work streams to ensure design, build and implementation adheres to enterprise vision
• Define and describe components stacks, integrations dependencies, and data flows for technical and business users
• Help define and implement best practices for development changes to systems
• Interact with business partners, technical team members, partners, and peers, and senior management in the course of proof-of-concept
• Participate in design and development meetings that require strategy, design and implementation of enterprise systems
• Understand requirements and provide input on costs, deliverables and contract performance related to projects
• Partner with business functions, platform development and delivery teams, and other architects to ensure delivery of functionality in a timely manner to meet business needs


• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of experience in application design, optimizing features, availability, scalability, user experience, visualization and data integrity related to key aspects of an enterprise
• Deep knowledge of application and data architecture addressing security, compliance, scalability, high-availability and infrastructure needs and design
• Strong knowledge of an Enterprise system and their relationship with other systems, processes and business needs in a global organization
• Extensive hands-on experience and knowledge across a broad range of technologies and infrastructure
• Full stack experience with Java or .Net (preferable)
• Web development experience
• Database design and architecture
• Developing securing, and deploying Representational State Transfer (REST)/Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) base APIs
• Messaging and Integration technologies
• Multi-tier, distributed architecture
• Cloud native architecture a plus
• Container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working in Scrum,/Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and the corresponding ability to quickly provide sound decisions and recommendations
• Sound business, technical, and financial acumen
