Description & Qualifications


About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Representative to play a pivotal role on our Marketing team! Our BDRs are instrumental in helping grow our net-new sales pipeline by opening doors to new leads and propelling sales opportunities. The focus is identifying, developing, and creating new business opportunities for the Field Sales Executive(s).

• Coordinate meetings that are customer/prospect-facing and answers questions typically generated by local and/or national marketing programs or advertising and prepare appropriate documentation
• Generate interest within existing customers/prospects via cold calling and lead management (from marketing and demand generation, as well as events and other sources)
• Qualify leads and/or set meetings that are ready for sales handling and engagement (field or inside sales)
• Responsible for ongoing account nurturing with customers/prospects to ensure the company is always positioned for success
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape, as well as competitive positioning of the company
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports of activity and results for leadership and internal business partners.
• Enhance awareness in the targeted business community of the company, its products, and services.
• Responsible for data management within CRM (Salesforce) and must be proficient with all available technology to be successful in the role.


About You:
Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ previous business development, prospecting, cold calling,
• and/or sales experience in a high technology environment
• Proficient with CRM and sales enablement tools, preferably
• Experience in software/SaaS sales or customer service
• Must be fluent in Spanish & English (written and verbal)
• Be on-site 2 days a week

Preferred Qualifications:
• Business development, prospecting, sales and/or marketing background
• Understands the industries (Manufacturing, Retail & Hospitality, Distribution & Logistics) UKG sells into and can have an intelligent
• business conversation with a prospect/customer that they find valuable
• Comfortable having business conversation with C-level titles
• Utilizes all pertinent social media tools to improve prospecting success. (LinkedIn Navigator)
• Familiar with various sales methodologies (Sandler, AAISP etc.)
