Description

Responsibilities

Provide support for UKG physical and virtual servers environment.
Collaborate with Project Managers and various global team members on approved IT projects.
Work with Global IT Team members on day-to-day operational issues
Design, Architect, Deploy, and Support Servers Operating System
Respond to Help Desk tickets and automatic alerting systems
Ability to be on a rotational On-call schedule
Participate in 24x7 system support and handle escalations

Qualifications

Must to have Skills Set:
Bachelor of Technology or related bachelor’s degree plus around 5 to 8 years of experience with enterprise environment
Hands on experience in Linux Centos/RHEL/Ubuntu servers Installation, Configuration, and administration of RHEL7, SLES 12 Application servers
Hands on experience in different flavors of AIX Operating system, VIOS/NIM/LPAR
Hands on experience with OEM Rack, Blade and FX2 Chassis
Hands on experience in Disaster management tools
Good Knowledge & Experience in Storage technologies such as HP 3PAR & Nimble
Experience with Service Now or another Service Desk ticketing system.
Good Knowledge and experience in ITIL based processes
Participation on Major/Severity incidents for resolution and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for the Major incidents
Good team player
Strong communication skills

Good to Have Skills Set
Good Knowledge in vSphere 5.x/6.x/7.x
Good knowledge of Powershell scripting
Good knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes would be a plus
Exposure to monitoring and asset management tools such as SolarWinds, Lan Sweeper etc.
Experience in Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS & Google would be a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with various Engineering, DBA, Network, and applications group team members
