Description & Qualifications

Description

1. Maintain and create patch builds for local and remote employees. Ensure smooth delivery of builds working with remote counterparts to provide coverage and hand-off of critical issues.
2. Act as point of contact for managing multiple releases across organization
3. Take responsibility for the release management process
4. Maintain service pack build and task stream management for all CE streams as well as interfacing with next new product deliverables
5. Communication with the Engineering and Stakeholders for new configuration and delivery options and improvement options
6. Develop and debug customer issues found in the installation of configuration code of the UKG system
7. co-ordinate the deployment activities including the execution of the deployment Plans as per checklists
8. Work towards improvement of Release deployments with automation & process refinements
9. Follow the ITIL standard to push the code in production environments
10. Ability to learn and adapt new technologies and platform

Qualifications

1. 3-5 years of experience of release management, installation work in a client/ server architecture
2. Hands-On Experience on Kubernetes Platform
3. Working knowledge of DevOps Tools and CI-CD pipelines
4. Understanding of Jenkins for managing and publishing scheduled and ad-hoc builds
5. Working knowledge of Cloud-Based technologies
6. Experience with Oracle and SQL scripting and understanding the deployment of scripts
7. Experience writing and debugging ANT and IVY scripts
8. Experience working with Gradle and Artifactory for developing builds and setting up release streams
9. Experience to manage Linux and Windows based platforms
10. Ability to communicate both verbally and written to a variety of audiences
11. Working with remote and local engineers and willingness to work off hours at times to deliver on customer commitments including weekends and holidays at times
12. BS or equivalent in Computer Science
