Description

The Product Management team is looking for a results-oriented person to lead our Product Management Operations team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong organizational skills, be experienced with modern product management process and tracking tools including data analysis and reporting functions, be familiar with agile software development processes, and strong communications and people skills for cross-functional communications. This position reports to the GVP Product Management.

This position will provide strategic leadership in product management best practices including product planning, voice of the customer programs, release planning, cross functional communication and readiness and new hire on boarding. This role will also provide data insights and analytics for the product team to assist them in product research, innovation exploration and key customer trends. This person will also lead our technology strategy in support of product management including tools like Aha. This position coordinates very closely with Engineering to ensure roadmaps and release plans are aligned to engineering level resourcing and task plans

Results Orientation – The ideal candidate would have demonstrated the ability to work in world-class product management/software development organization in a high-growth software company providing data insights, analyses, and trade-offs.

Detailed and Organized – The ideal candidate would have demonstrated strong operational understanding of the product management/software development lifecycle skills and working with detailed information/reporting from modern development environment tools. They will have shown the ability to generate deliverables that provide insights into the organization’s capacity and demand, identify, and manage risk, support early detection of project execution issues, and provide fact-based information and analyses to various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in product operations or similar roles (program management, project management, etc.)
• Experience with Agile Methods, especially as it relates to project-level information and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort with detailed information, including financial, technical tasks and workstreams, and deliverables/action items.
• Self-motivated, driven, and results oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• BS or BA in Management, Business, Computer Science or equivalent.
