Description & Qualifications


Manages all activities in the payroll operations function in North America (USA/Puerto Rico/Canada/Mexico) and LATAM (Uruguay, Brazil) to ensure timely payments to employees and maintain accurate records and control reports. Maintains process, procedure documentation and process change implementation within the operations team. Works closely with the Payroll Systems and Compliance team to identify issues, implement fixes, review custom requests and test effects on processes. Manages team of up to 12 which includes 2 direct reporting Payroll Managers. Ensures that department milestones/goals are met and focuses on best practices. Requires 10+ years’ experience in a related area with 5 to 7 years supervisory experience. The primary indicators of a successful Sr Manager of Payroll Operations are strong leadership skills, project implementation, extensive general payroll and UKG Pro knowledge, desire to mentor and provide feedback to staff, and strong analytical skills


• 10+ years’ experience in Payroll Operations with In-House processing and 5 to 7 years supervisory experience.
• Proven track record of effectively communicating with and influencing at all levels.
• Able to help others navigate through difficult situations.
• Highly accurate, analytical, timely and detail oriented.
• Strong judgment with ability to deal effectively with projects as well as tactical operational details.
• Results and customer service-oriented individual who possesses a positive can-do attitude, continually striving for excellence.
• Ability to work with individuals, groups and teams to identify issues and solve problems.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPP Certification
• Experience with UKG Pro
