Description
We are looking for an open-minded, resourceful problem solver to lead the Tax Center of Excellence (Specialty Launch and Post Live Services division). This is a group of experienced payroll tax experts chartered with ensuring customers are implemented by Global Delivery Services with accurate wage and tax opening balances.The goal is to provide the consulting team with the right level of oversight, coaching and tax expertise to ensure success in customer implementations. As the senior manager of a team of Advanced Solution Consultants (ASC) you will be responsible for ensuring your team executes against the stated goals of Specialty Launch and Post Live Services. You will report success metrics against the objectives laid out by the senior leader and provide feedback as to the future direction of the processes and team. This leadership role has both individual contributors and a manager reporting to them.
Responsibilities
The Tax Center of Excellence team serves as Subject Matter Experts (SME) to the UKG Pro System Consultants (SC) and Partners during the implementation process.
• Evaluating and improving processes, technology and training used by our SME and SC.
• Meeting established quarterly and annual objectives.
• Handling escalated customer circumstances.
• Analyze and report on state of the team and implementations.
• Perform and coach on effective tax balancing and troubleshooting, as needed.
• Recruiting expert talent for attrition and growth
• Employee retention and culture ownership to create an engaged team
• Identifying career growth paths for team of highly talented experts
• Performance management; setting goals and measuring against them by individual performer
• Individual team capacity modeling
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience
• Experience with service delivery, preferably in a customer-facing or strategic role
• Proven process improvement experience and skills
• Familiarity with payroll and/or tax filing
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree – Business or Finance
• Develops high performing employees and teams
• Demonstrated ability to adapt plans to changing circumstances and show flexibility in dealing with unforeseen challenges
• Ability to manage successfully through customer, peer or business partner conflict
• Invests in learning the business to lead at a strategic level and participate at a tactical one.
• Demonstrated ability to set ambitious yet achievable goals in line with overall company objectives
