About the Role:The Marketing Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing, documenting, implementing, and responding to business process changes within marketing. This position requires an understanding of marketing operations coupled with the ability to work collaboratively with demand generation partners to achieve business objectives. The goal is to provide technology-driven solutions for managing marketing programs and measuring marketing performance.
• Responsibilities of the Marketing Operations Analyst will extend to implementation, testing, validation, and monitoring of marketing campaigns
• Partner with technical and non-technical internal stakeholders on their strategies and tactics to ensure programs and campaigns are successful
• Use advanced segmentation strategies and marketing automation software to create targeted campaigns
• Gather and document business requirements for existing systems and processes as well as proposed solution changes
• Leverage Marketing Automation solution to track and report on individual campaign performance and tests; leverage database to analyze results and make recommendations to improve performance and ROI
• Support ongoing operations by working with end-users and vendors to understand and resolve system issues to optimally use system functionality
Qualifications
About You:Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years' experience Eloqua or Marketo experience is required
• 2+ years’ experience in database management, integrations and reporting with a strong understanding of the challenges that marketers face from day-to-day
• working knowledge of best practices for email segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, and deliverability
• Excel and Access experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
• The ability to integrate the cross-functional needs of marketing, technology, and other areas of an organization into an effective business solution
• Analytical skills coupled with a solid business foundation, particularly in marketing topics
• Working knowledge of campaign planning, execution, and measurement
• Familiarity with international and domestic email compliance regulations
• Strong organizational skills
• Salesforce Sales Cloud experience a plus
• Workfront Project Management experience a plus
• Basic HTML knowledge preferred
