The successful candidate for this role will have expertise in engineering tools, methods and practices so that he/she can lead the technical agenda for the Quality Engineering organization. This is a high profile individual contributor position that includes project & technical negotiations, presentations, delivering white papers and influencing engineers, architects, managers, executives and customers. This position features a global dimension as you will play a pivotal role collaborating with peers in our development organizations around the world that results in improving our ability to deliver leading edge applications that meet or exceed customers’ expectations.

Qualifications

•Bachelors in Computer Science/ Engineering or related discipline.
•14+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in product organization distributed across the globe.
•14+ years of hands on development experience desired using Java , Spring Framework , JPA , Power mock frameworks
•Deep understanding of testing concepts, tools & processes including expertise in various types of tests at a SaaS or Cloud company. Experience with API, GUI, installing automation tools and scripting languages
•Demonstrated experience designing scalable and maintainable automated testing solutions for distributed enterprise environments. Demonstrated technical leadership skills including self-direction, coaching and mentoring, leading change in tools or practices across all levels of an organization.
•Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technology, tools and process.
•Strong understanding web technologies and hands on programming skills in Java
•Experience delivering cloud or SaaS based offerings.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Demonstrated collaborative and mentoring skills.
•Experience in DBMS, SQL, Stored Procedures, and knowledge of database schemas. - Expertise in working with web applications in an Agile environment.
• Exp in Rest services development
• Exp. in Object-oriented analysis, design and programming, database modelling, etc.
• Experience using one or more ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA
• Core product development experience on SaaS/Cloud/Multitenant solutions
• Good experience with Unit Testing processes and tools (JUnit etc.) and performance testing using JMeter
• Hands-on experience with Design Patterns
• Good experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process (CI/CD) and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Splunk
• Exposure to database techniques/tools such as data modelling, PPAS, SQL, etc
• Experience in Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, NodeJS, AJAX, Karma, jasmine. Experience with front end technologies. Candidate should be able to develop on front-end. Good experience with full stack development
• Experience using one or more application containers such as Nginx, Tomcat
• Conversant with platforms, tools and frameworks used in application development
• Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodology and related tools such as JIRA etc.
• Excellent Debugging / Troubleshooting skills
