Description & Qualifications


As a Product Manager Business Analyst, you will work with our external and internal customers to define, analyze, and document custom applications and software features. Projects require specific product knowledge, requirements interpretation and definition, and analytical design. Business Analysts are occasionally called upon to act as a Quality Analysts to assist with functional testing for customs or Acceptance Criteria for features when needed. Embedded within a development team, you will work side by side with other Business Analysts, Quality Analysts/Engineers and Developers to create applications and validate quality. In our highly collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to continually grow as a business analyst.

• Work directly with external and/or internal customers to define, analyze, and document business requirements for custom software applications or software features
• Elicit information about business processes, use cases, and necessary data models to identify solutions that are efficient and provide value
• Interpret user requirements based on a given business need
• Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis sessions
• Negotiate requirement priorities across project stakeholders
• Develop “trusted adviser” relationships with clients to instill trust
• Create clear and concise documentation and/or stories that serve the needs of both the client and UKG audiences
• Ensure understanding of requirements at various organizational levels
• Collaborate with multiple internal resources to design solutions and ensure project team understanding
• Implement change-control, ensure scope is maintained, and escalate major scope changes as warranted
• Provide regular project status updates to client and/or project management
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects to meet delivery dates
• Provide input on development methodology and process improvements for customs or features
• When needed, test completed project against specification prior to project being delivered to client and facilitate user acceptance testing
• When needed, test feature story acceptance criteria prior to feature being ready to be merged
• Ability to travel to annual team conference


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of database concepts and Relational Database Systems
• Experience with API’s, Microservices, Web Services and/or Forms
• Knowledge of business analysis process, specification and user story writing
• Experience working directly with customers, end-users, or multiple internal development teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Strong change control, task management and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage expectations of self and others
• Ability to work alone or in a team environment
• Prior consulting experience

Preferred Skills
• Agile/Kanban experience
• Jira experience
• Experience with Payroll and Human Capital Management
• Experience with applicable UKG Pro software products
