The Sr. Product Operations Analyst will enter and maintain critical master data elements in a variety of systems within the organization’s item registration department and will support order fulfillment as needed. The Sr. Product Operations Analyst is a key point of contact for a host of cross-functional departments. The position reports to the Manager of Item Operations.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for the timely review and action against requests submitted by various stakeholders across the organization. The analyst will understand UKG’s policies for product data governance and will act as a liaison between impacted parties to resolve non-standard requests.
The qualified candidate will work closely with our partners in the IT organization to support complete configuration of new products in Salesforce and other systems. This support includes participating in end-to-end system testing and providing sign-off of those results.
This role also assists in order fulfillment activities during the month-end period, and as needed throughout the year. Extended work hours are required to support month-end activities.
The highly desirable candidate will have demonstrated experience in writing job aids/work instructions/process documents.
About the Job:
Essential responsibilities include the following. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
• Enrich attributes within the Oracle Item Master and within Salesforce Products with precision
• Update and maintain Oracle Pricelists with precision
• Maintain an Excel catalog/price book that is utilized by teams throughout the organization
• Monitor the Item Registration task-management queue, ServiceNow, and ensure questions and requests are worked within established SLAs
• Participate in training involving system changes and enhancements in Salesforce, Oracle, and additional software programs as required
• Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, IT, Sales Operations, and others on new items / updates to existing items
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and work to bring about positive change
• Analyze and assess current process documentation to identify and participate in improvements
• Support order fulfillment activities
• Additional duties as assigned including providing coverage as needed at month-end

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• 5 years of relevant experience at the minimum, preferably in the software industry
• Comfortable to work with stakeholders from different levels.
• Strong business acumen, be able to grasp the business concepts and assess risks accurately.
• Strong knowledge in Oracle, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with D365 is a plus
• Familiarity with master data management concepts
• Experience writing job aids/work instructions/process documents strongly desired
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Strong time management skills and ability to work towards deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with questioning information provided by others
• Ability to support extended hours around month-end closes
