UKG EPIC Pro Time Software Development team is looking to hire a Sr Software Engineering to join our . Our teams are responsible for several important products within our UKG suite. These products include UKG Pro Time Management, UKG Pro Time & Attendance and UKG Pro WFM Classic. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge software solutions. If you are passionate about technology, possess strong leadership skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

About the role:

• Designing, programming, and implementing software application packages customized to client needs
• Collaborating with architects and peer tech leads to enhance functionality, performance, scalability, stability, reliability, usability, security, and other quality criteria across the organization
• Collaborating with development teams in an agile context as it relates to software development, including test driven development, automated unit testing and test fixtures, and pair programming
• Conduct regular performance analysis and make recommendations for improvements
• Working in the Workforce Management domain and implementing and developing Time and Attendance applications
• Review latest trends and technologies in database engineering and propose innovative solutions to enhance our systems
• Work closely with production support and operations personnel to identify and remove bottlenecks in the system while maintaining existing application functionality
• This position is currently a hybrid work model (3 days in the office) going into the office in Weston, FL

Qualifications

About you,

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of Software development experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages preferably JAVA and J2EE
• Experience with SQL Server, Tomcat, experience with Application servers, IBM Cognos reporting framework

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle, MySQL Database, JBoss, WebLogic
• Experience with Infor workforce management
• Strong understanding of software architecture
• Design patterns, and best practices
• Familiarity with relevant technologies and frameworks
