Description
As a Sr. Software QA Engineer, you will be engaged in feature development focused on implementing new US Tax Legislation support within our products, including our Calculation Engines, while also reproducing and testing customer-found defects, along with writing .NET and SQL test automation.•Demonstrated experience writing and executing complex functional test cases and test plans at both the functional and feature level.
•Demonstrated experience using version control software (Git, TFS, etc)
•Ability to coordinate and direct a QA team to design test strategy and execute testing of a completely new functional implementation and/or release regression.
•Demonstrated experience successfully executing different testing methodologies (Performance, White and Black Box testing)
•Ability to successfully work within a team and manage a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
•Proven experience mentoring new QA associates.
Qualifications
•Prior experience with a CI system (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)•Computer Science/Business undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
•Experience with the SDLC
•3+ performing QA testing of a modular enterprise application
•Ability to develop a medium complexity SQL's to retrieve data from the database and validate application functionality.
•3+ years’ experience with writing automated tests using C# or any other OOP (Object Oriented Programming) language and/or automated testing tools (Selenium, TestComplete)
•3+ years’ experience developing and executing acceptance criteria for complex technical functionality
•3+ years’ experience successfully documenting test efforts and communicating results to both a technical and non-technical audience
•Experience with event-driven architecture and testing patterns.
•Understanding of Agile or Lean Software Development experience such as Kanban or Scrum
