About the role:
UKG is looking for Senior Technical Product Operations Specialist to join our team to enable cloud functions in EPIC (Engineering, Product, Innovation, and Cloud) value streams across our portfolio of solutions. The UKG Cloud team is a global team that leverages technology and right-sized processes to deliver world class solutions.
You will be part of a global Cloud team focused on helping mature the cloud platform, driving maturity across EPIC value streams, and delivering core capabilities to help scale the business. The focus of the Cloud organization is to enable the business to deliver value at a rapid pace by providing building blocks to ensure UKG has a consistent approach to delivery and security in a cloud environment.
The ideal candidate for the role of Sr. Tech Product Ops Specialist will demonstrate a true passion for fostering healthy and rewarding experiences for customers and employees alike and at all levels of the organization, including UKG technical leadership, strategic partners, and key internal stakeholders. This person will exercise excellent communication skills, conflict management, and navigate evolving team dynamics with a wide degree of latitude. The candidate will be highly analytical, creative, and innovative while showcasing a high degree of operational excellence. The balance of these strengths while representing the products and services we provide will be crucial to driving our team's mission in maturing these offerings and partnerships to deliver exceptional value.
• Drive advancement of Cloud strategic and operational vision, standards, and supporting functions, offerings, and tools, in alignment within EPIC
• Establish, implement, and monitor knowledge management processes for technical teams
• Build partnerships with highly matrixed cross-functional internal and external teams
• Understand Cloud and EPIC business priorities and identify technical initiatives and improvements that help deliver high value
• Deliver reliability improvements and process enhancements for key products and/or services while performing under minimal supervision to attain results
• Facilitate meetings to discuss initiatives and business/ strategy while delivering informative, well-organized executive level presentations
• Partner with EPIC Value Stream leaders to understand their needs from Cloud, leveraging practices such as Program Increment planning, backlog grooming, and Cloud dependencies and enablers

Qualifications

About you:
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have experience with SAFe Framework or other Agile practices
• Experience in an analytical role, working with data to identify trends and make recommendations
• Project Management experience Familiarity with work management tools, such as: Jira, Confluence or ServiceNow Experience in Enterprise SaaS (Software as a Service) offerings, particularly in delivering resilient, scalable, and highly available solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent technical, business judgement, negotiating and influencing skills
• Experience as a Solutions Consultant, Technical Manager or Program Manager
