About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager (SAM) who is looking for a new challenge to utilise their exceptional skills to achieve quota target and business objectives through management and growth of their assigned territory accounts.

By identifying and developing enterprise business opportunities this role will drive customer growth and maintain/expand relationships with a select list of our largest and most strategically important Retail customers across EMEA. You are an Information broker - Relationship facilitator/builder - Negotiator - and Customer advocate!

Responsibilities:

• Maximising sales revenue (software, cloud & hardware) delivering 100%+ of agreed booking / revenue targets by managing complex sales cycles.
• Defining an account plan/sales strategy to scale and encourage further sales opportunities.
• Developing and communicating effective business plans for key customers to establish UKG as a strategic partner for life and creating highly referenceable customers.
• Establishing growth opportunities through self-generated activities, conversion of leads and participation in sales and marketing campaigns and events.
• Building business focused Executive level relationships, demonstrating clear understanding of industry issues and the particular business goals, needs and potential solutions for individual accounts.
• Generate incremental business within existing accounts through selling additional licences, modules across the organisation or upgrades or new solutions.
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

Qualifications

About you:

• Proven and successful experience managing enterprise grade Retail customers for a Tier1 Software organisation.
• Works through network and search, you will have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present a clear business case.
• Business and financial acumen and relationship management skills at C-level.
• Strategic vision and planning capabilities.
• Driven to succeed through discipline and self-motivation and a positive & entrepreneurial attitude: ‘can do - will do’ mentality.
• Multi-Lingual is desired but not essential.
