This role works in partnership with several healthcare sales teams to sell UKG Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions to prospects and existing customers as a part of US Healthcare vertical. The primary focus is supporting sales teams to add UKG Pro HCM to existing healthcare workforce management (WFM) customers and migrate existing HCM customers to the UKG Pro platform in the western half of the US.

This is a strategic role and requires working knowledge of HR and payroll functions and procedures. The HCM Solution Specialist (HSS) needs to understand the prospects requirements and help build/sell the business case to migrate/add UKG Pro to the prospects UKG Suite.

The HSS assists marketing and sales with messaging and positioning UKG HCM in the healthcare industry. This role also helps engineering understand the unique needs of healthcare and supports driving the solution upmarket in healthcare settings.

• Partner with healthcare sales teams to provide strategic account focus and solution selling of UKG HCM Solutions
• Work with field sales to aggressively uncover and create demand for UKG Pro additions and migrations
• Uncover business need and demand creation of the migration to UKG Pro
• Help prospects understand the full value of UKG Pro in their environments
• Work in the field with the UKG healthcare sales teams to qualify, strategize and win UKG Pro sales opportunities
• Provide HCM, HR and Payroll expertise in the areas of business process design, system utilization and current or emerging trends during the sales pursuit
• Work with UKG engineering to ensure feature functionality requirements are meeting healthcare market requirements


• 5+ years of experience as sales overlay specialist or partnering with sales team is required, preferably within human capital management
• Experience with UKG Pro (formerly Ultipro) is strongly preferred
• Experience with UKG Dimensions HCM & UKG Central HCM is preferred
• Subject matter expertise in human resources and payroll
• Experience with HCM & WFM in acute and nonacute healthcare settings is preferred
• Executive acumen and persuasion skills
• Technical acumen on cloud infrastructure, security, and SaaS solutions is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication capabilities along with strong presentation and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with VP and C-level leadership within client and prospect targets
• Ability to function in a team selling sales environment. Politically astute, team player with the ability to work the sales process internally as well as externally
