The Strategic Sourcing Analyst ensures that products, services and vendor relationships are in the best interest of the company. This position is responsible for the evaluation of vendors and contracts including the Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Request for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI). This position works under minimal supervision on complex assignments that require considerable independent discretion and judgement. This role is project-based and is required to work on projects requiring research, negotiation skills, and evaluation of services. The position will provide recommendations based on research including supplier selections based on market analysis and strategies for sourcing key materials and services. Will also support the business areas in evaluations of goods or services and can provide commercial, financial, and technical support.

Understand and be able to execute delegated steps of the sourcing work process in accordance with organizational processes.
Collaborate with Legal and Security teams to ensure that appropriate due diligence is exercised while onboarding new suppliers
Ensure that fully executed supplier contracts are collected and deposited into the contract management system in a timely manner
Work with internal customers to facilitate Request for Proposals, Request for Quotes and Invitations to Bid.
Conceive, develop and deliver techniques, practices, and procedures for compliance administration in a matter that protects the company’s interests.
Prepares, reviews and presents reports as requested.
Independently works on large projects including both purchasing and process changes with a high level of discretion and independence.
Exhibit a sense of ownership for projects delegated by management, including pushing projects along and responsibility for results.
Maintain all documentation on all procedures.
Supports the Sourcing Manager by providing contract support and expertise.
Researches and makes recommendations to internal customers based on in-depth analysis of market.
Will also work with the company’s suppliers/vendors and will be required to negotiate without damaging relationships but rather work in a spirit of partnership by utilizing the skills of persuasion and influence.


Must have strong communications skills, oral, written, and presentation
Must be able to evaluate and compare supplier quotes, bids and information and make a recommendation based on the findings.
Need to be able to create professional documents for supplies and internal customers.
Detail-oriented when evaluating bids, contracts, and other materials
Should demonstrate the desire to continually be learning and evolving.
Must be adaptable and flexible to market changes and work to innovate within the category by leveraging relationships with internal customers and suppliers/vendors.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Must be a results-driven self-starter, who is able to act proactively in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical skills required, with ability to solve problems.
Excellent Customer Service Skills when dealing with the company’s team members at all levels of the organization.
