Description & Qualifications


The Senior Tax Associate will split their time between supporting the day-to-day work of UKG’s tax compliance and reporting functions and contributing to a variety of the tax department’s special projects and initiatives. Many special projects will involve either (1) better utilizing UKG’s existing portfolio of Thomson Reuters tax software, (2) migrating manual, Microsoft Excel based tax processes to more advanced tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or (3) merger integration related tax work. As a result, in addition to a well-rounded tax background the successful applicant should have experience using more advanced tax software tools. This role will report to the International Tax Manager.


• 2+ years of tax accounting experience with a tax-relevant advanced degree (MBA, MST, MSA or JD) or 3+ years of tax accounting experience preferred
• Proficient in a variety of software tools, at a minimum including the Microsoft Office suite, but ideally also including Thomson Reuters tax products, ETL tools, and visualization/automation tools.
• 2+ years of advanced software tool experience like Power BI or Alteryx
• Prior large accounting firm or multinational corporation experience strongly preferred
