Description

Experienced payroll tax amendment analyst needed for the Special Operations team. Must have extensive research and tax agency background, preferably with work experience in the service bureau industry. Must be able to manage projects independently, hitting deadlines and communicating updates with teams both internally and externally of UKG.

Qualifications

Basic:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or a minimum of 3 years equivalent work experience.
• 5 years minimum payroll tax reconciliation experience
• 2-4 years of Customer Service experience

Preferred:
• Demonstrated experience performing payroll tax reconciliations and analysis
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• General accounting experience
• Ability to negotiate positive resolutions with customers and payroll tax agencies
• Proficient working with multiple systems and tools to perform job functions
• Ability to work independently and with a team-based environment
• Working knowledge of payroll tax quarterly annual reconciliations
• Excellent analytical and follow up skills
• Good oral and written communication skills and above average administrative skills
• Good time management skills in order to meet production and aging goals
• Ability to interface with all departments both within the company as well as external sources
• 3rd party payroll service bureau experience
