Description & Qualifications


The Team Lead has the responsibility of managing the day-to-day activities. Providing mentoring, monthly one on one sessions with team members, team building/developmental activities and events, monitoring processes and ensuring technology is leveraged to exceed customer SLAs is required. Must actively support and independently lead process and technology initiatives that will improve the operational performance of the team while delighting customers. Must have the ability to manage difficult customer communications and ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally. This position will operate under the direction of the Manager.

***This person must have flexibility to work West Coast hours/schedule

-Works independently on specialized projects or assignments
-Exercises full autonomy in order to determine objectives of assigned activities
-Mentors new hires and individuals on the team, often acting as a Team Leader
-Owns processes for the team and delivers the value propisition of Wage Attachment to external partners and vendors, in support of manager
-Often acts as a team leader, providing day-to-day supervision to a team including coordinating activities and checking quality and work progress
-Develops and cultivates team building/developmental activities and events, one-on-one/quick chats
-Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
-Takes personal accountability for the relationship with internal and external customers
-Is skilled at observing others for their reactions and adjusts communication or style accordingly
-Proactively establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect
-Provides prompt and efficient responses to meet the requirements, requests, and concerns of internal and external customers
-Actively demonstrates understanding & empathy
-Embodies Partner for Life culture in all facets of day to day activities
-Expertly skilled in deescalating and resolving difficult interactions and discussions with customers or other internal partners.
-Acts as a trusted advisor, point of escalation for customers, internal partners, and management.
-Actively builds strong, collaborative, cross-functional relationships and networks.
-Creates COI in relevant teams to routinely address, analyze and solve unique issues
-Is highly skilled at presenting to more senior leaders and other internal stakeholders
-Communicates complex, sensitive, or advanced technical information; works collaboratively to build consensus
-Responsive to requests, displays a sense of urgency, and has positive team participation skills


-Advanced skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and other applications
-Leadership training: Aspiring Leader, etc.
-Expert at Salesforce and SSP
-Advanced skills in using Quip document and other shared documents (Sharepoint, etc.)
-Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-Excellent analytical skill set with the ability to think outside the box to solve problems.
-Expertise in UKG Pro.

-Typically requires a minimum of 6-8 years+ of related experience in payroll, accounting, garnishments, or related field; or equivalent levels of skill, knowledge, or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in related field.
