Description & Qualifications


UKG 1 is the foundation that unifies how UKG operates by delivering a fully integrated end-to-end solution that enables us to efficiently and consistently attract, service and support our customers. We are looking for a talented Technical Business Analyst to join the Transformation Data Engineering team to help test connections, align old and new data, support the engineers and dive into reporting providing consolidation. You will also perform technical troubleshooting and provide solutions to ensure high levels of performance.

• Work on the multi-year/milepost UKG1 integration processes for the Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Work with stakeholders across UKG and within Business Data & Analytics Operations teams to understand data needs from sources through end-user consumption
• Prepare timelines, task assignments, and document status, and communicate delivery progress
• Partner with System Admins and Software Vendors to facilitate and maintain data ingestion pipelines into the Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Facilitate development of new connections and ingestion pipelines from new data source into the data fabric / data platform by obtaining credentials, and testing API integrations.
• Wrangle and integrate data from disparate systems to allow data analysts and scientists leverage for end-to-end data and information.
• Understand needs, translate to business requirements and participate in UIUX design of the front-end Data Marketplace (proprietary).
• Monitoring and first line support of the data fabric / data platform that allows data analysts and scientists leverage for end-to-end data and information.
• Understand needs and requirements for data analytics tooling for supporting analytics workflows and data science workflows to support the artificial intelligence lifecycles.
• Facilitate data and insights needs in a manner that allows business users to understand, interpret and act within their operational workflows and decision-making processes.
• Facilitate and collaborate in the develop data products, including web applications, API endpoints, and data visualizations, that deliver information and insights to business users.
• Support, facilitate and enhance our team’s strategic engagement request intake and management process
• Using a data driven approach, review and analyze our current intake and work assignment models, looking for areas of improvement or where we could generate cost savings


• 5+ years of relevant experience in technology product and services related industry
• 3+ years SQL
• 1+ years working within cloud environment
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes, open-minded and curious; positive attitude
• Experience in performance measurement, portfolio analytics and/or benchmark relative attribution analysis
• Experience working in an agile team
• Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end data products that put information and insights into the hands of the business users.
• Demonstrated ability to quantify / measure impact of actions taken based on insights.
• Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies.
• Proficiency in using APIs
• Proficiency in cloud development (GCP, and Azure) and workflow automation technologies.
• Experience building out enterprise data warehouses, fabrics and/or platforms according to prescribed information architecture.
• Proficiency in data wrangling and integration.
• Preferred – proficiency in data quality measures and understanding of data governance.
• Preferred – Experience in cloud (GCP, and Azure) and workflow automation technologies
• Comfortable using the Microsoft suite, especially excel. Experience with Microsoft PowerBI a bonus
• Experience with work management and productivity tools (e.g. AHA, Jira, ServiceNow, MS365) a bonus

Colorado Pay Law

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $83,600 to $100,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
