Description

The HCM Foundations team is looking for an experienced and versatile technical business analyst to help deliver innovative solutions for UKG’s customers. The primary goal of this role is to work with Product, Engineering, and internal stakeholder teams to define and refine Backend technical features and requirements needed to migrate to modern technology stacks. In this role, you will work with a highly skilled, diverse group of people across the company to address our biggest business and technology challenges. This position will be part of a team responsible for legacy technology products and services.
Your responsibilities will Include:
• Work with technical and business stakeholders to research, elicit, and synthesize business and architectural requirements into feature requirements.
• Create detailed functional designs and process flows, using Agile methodologies and tools; story writing and validation including conditions of satisfaction
• Work with the Product Manager to prioritize requirements and lead the design of product functionality
• Work closely with Engineers to drive feature development and ensure the product is being built to specifications
• Take ownership of the delivery of features and capabilities throughout the development process
• Participate in user meetings (internal and external) to gain understanding of customer processes, ideas and issues, including existing architectures, integrations and opportunities for migration between legacy systems and our new platforms

Qualifications

Basic:
• You have worked 3+ years as a technical business analyst or a product business analyst at a technology-driven organization
• You have experience with defining requirements for and/or building enterprise class software systems
• You have experience using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with HCM products and underlying data structures
• Prior programming experience, particularly in the area of platform development
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science preferred, or business discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• You have a strong track record of shaping and executing on features with tight collaboration with Engineering
• You have a history of listening to customers, understanding their needs and creating improvements to meet those needs
• You have demonstrated the ability to be committed to collaboration, problem solving and can work well with others across business units to build iterative solutions that continuously deliver value
• You have demonstrated the ability to learn new technologies quickly and can comfortably talk about technical concepts and break them down in order to communicate with a wider audience
