UKG Ready is the flagship Workforce and Human Capital management product suite for small to medium enterprises for UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group). Join the UKG Ready UX team, that collaborates with cross functional teams and customers, to bring the next generation cloud workforce and human capital management product to life in a way that feels inspired, refined and delightful. Mirroring the work-life balance that is at the core of the UKG culture, we are a UCD (Use centered design) shop that values customer success and delight and we make every effort to make this UX magic happen while having fun.

Although this position is located at UKG's headquarters (Lowell, MA), we are open to all UKG office locations throughout the country. The position will be a hybrid model. UKG values work-life balance for all employees.

• Translate strategy, business requirements and usability best practices into high-quality, customer-centric designs that support and reinforce UKG’s product vision, brand, and business objectives
• Balance user experience, business needs, technical feasibility, and time-to-market to determine best product designs
• Architect, Design and Support new interfaces/experiences by creating low and high-fidelity wireframes, mockups and prototypes
• Contribute to UKG Ready DLS (design language system), from building components to pattern documentation
• Collaborate with product teams and our inhouse accessibility program to deliver on UKG mission to offer meaningful and inclusive product experiences for all users
• Champion customer-centric, responsive/adaptive design methodologies
• Test concepts, perform task and user analysis, and assist with user acceptance testing
• Work cross-functionally with product managers and engineering teams to ensure high quality design implementation through product lifecycle and releases



• Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline
• 2+ years Professional UX/UI Design experience
• Obsessive attention to detail and stellar visual design skills (Portfolio necessary)
• Good understanding of accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.1) is a plus
• Proficiency in using Figma, Sketch, and other design tools
• Great interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams; must have the ability to articulate design rationale in discussions and in presentations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated and organized - Must be able to work in a team environment and take design direction/feedback with positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, startup-like environment.
• Flexible and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment by garnering consensus across cross-functional teams for design ideas.
