The VP of People Operations and Care reimagines, develops, and transforms a portfolio of work aimed at optimizing the employee experience at UKG. You will be both a thought leader and driver to introduce new, leading-edge capability meant to make each employee’s experience seamless. You will invest in the future of UKG, shaping a technology and process ecosystem that leads to a greater employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.

As part of your role on the People leadership team, you will partner with our global People team members to share our vision and drive the strategy for all aspects of People operations and employee engagement. You understand the value to connect people, processes, and technology to increase employee engagement and productivity. The ideal candidate is innovative and has a strong technical foundation. This hands-on role demands deep knowledge of People operations strategy and requires a leader who can influence stakeholders and inspire a team.

Your Responsibilities
• Lead a team responsible for all aspects of People operations and processes, HR technology & systems, shared services, and the project management office.
• Care for our People
• Experienced in building a high performing team structured around a shared services model with the goal of caring for and improving interactions between our U-Krewers and the People team.
• HR Technology and Experience Owner
• Partner with our Chief People Officer and key stakeholders to support our enterprise-wide vision for the employee engagement and to pilot and scale new tools, systems, and programs.
• Experienced in design thinking, process mapping, and technology design that will ultimately support the scale, quality, and efficiency of our People team for the employees.
• Deliver a best-in-class experience across all points of the candidate and employee lifecycle
• HR Governance & Compliance
• Develops and operationalizes all things related to People policies & regulations to ensure compliance.
• Overall People Operations Leader
• Shapes and owns the overall People operations rhythm including, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition.
• Leads the Project Management Office
• Build and lead the team of project managers supporting key cross functional People team strategic initiatives.
• Develop and champion the roadmap for People reporting initiatives - works with leadership and key stakeholders to support organizational strategic objectives, leveraging system business intelligence functionality to ease administrative burden and build efficient, effective, and scalable processes and reporting.


• 15+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations with expert knowledge of human resources strategies, processes, policies, and laws
• Experience in process excellence
• Experience harmonizing people, process, and technology to affect an empowered workforce
• Experience with PCMM model or other framework that focuses on continuously improving management and development of human assets
• Experience in high growth, global, scaling, ideally in the tech space
• Experience leading HRIS and broader HR system assessments and implementations, including project management, issue management, communications, and change management
• A strategic thinker that can simultaneously focus on tactical and operational issues with demonstrated experience of managing multiple, on-going operational deliverables and ability to pivot suddenly with high priority tasks

Colorado Pay Law

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $214000 to $308000.00, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
